Capital Campaign.
Our capital campaign ended in 2015, but the support the campaign funds provided continued through 2016. Your generous giving (exceeding our goal of $300,000 by$41,000) made many of this year’s accomplishments possible... and made our junior warden very happy!
During the past year campaign funds paid for:
Campaign donations continued to be received through 2016. This includes this year’s Christmas offerings, which were designated for capital needs. At year’s end, our balance was $23,754. Most of that money is designated for specific expenses. At least $15,000 is designated for an emergency generator, so parishioners and the community have a place to cook and be warm if we again experience days of continued power outages. The chancel roof repair and the new heating valve and actuator installment were completed in late November and December. Over $6,000 will cover payments due this January. So...only $2,000 (approximately) will be available in the coming year.
I expect next year’s report to be very short... unless some of you decide to contribute money to the capital fund for future use!
Your generosity has allowed us to continue the good stewardship our forefathers started in this parish almost 273 years ago.
Thank you for all you have done and continue to do.

During the past year campaign funds paid for:
- Installing a new sidewalk along the north side of the church -- making a safe, level pathway that will last for many years.
- A new gate was made and backyard fencing was repaired -- making the yard a safe place for the children to play in.
- In the rectory, a new microwave and dishwasher were installed -- making Harrison very happy.
- The rectory’s back door was restored -- removing at least 4 layers of paint!
- Campaign funds also made improvements possible in our beautiful church. The balcony pews are being replaced and a seating area designed exclusively for the choir was installed. Have you noticed the choir’s joyous singing lately?
- The Chancel’s roof was repaired --stopping unwanted leaks and ceiling damage.
- The heating valve and actuator were replaced -- making the church hall’s temperature drop from tropical to manageable!
